Accounting Analyst

Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Analyst to join our client's team based in Latham, New York. For immediate consideration, please contact Carmen Warga in our Albany, NY office. Responsibilities:

Perform Accounts Payable (AP) processing, including coding, reviewing, and posting invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

Manage account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and ensuring resolution.

Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing and reviewing journal entries and reports.

Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on trends, errors, and improvements to financial processes.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any outstanding issues.

Maintain and update financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Support audits by providing requested documentation and information to internal and external auditors.

Assist with ad hoc financial reports and projects as needed.

Requirements
