We provide insight and access to the firm's expertise, capital, and deal flow across client balance sheets.POSITION SUMMARY:Supports Managing Director in expanding JPM relationships with top business owners and single family offices in Latin America. Promotes delivering the firm to clients of J.P. Morgan Private Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking, across lines of business in Latin America, while preserving confidentiality of Private Banking clients and of CIB transactions.Team works with Private Bank clients and prospects who are Latin American business owners, in developing and pursuing strategic initiatives for their companies and evaluating alternatives for themselves as shareholders. Delivers the global expertise of the Investment Bank to Private Bank clients, as appropriate. Generates introductions for the Private Bank to prospects who are clients of the Investment Bank in Latin America.JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
Assist in identifying potential clients for the Latin America Private Bank, by monitoring JPM Investment Banking deal pipeline, IB coverage lists, regional news, local stock exchange filings, industry research, and other sources
Support connection of sophisticated, billionaire families in Latin America to 23 Wall products and services
Conduct research on Latin American companies and industries, as preparation for client meetings
Identify pending and completed M&A and IPO transactions and analyze opportunities for the Private Bank with shareholders. Maintain IPO and M&A database, and coordinate with PB teams to follow up on identified prospects.
Maintain a network with IB and PB bankers by participating in team meetings and other regular meetings / calls
Manage database of introductions between the PB and IB; prepare cross-selling and client meeting activity reports
Become familiar with all Private Bank products and strategies; become familiar with IB transaction processes
Identify opportunities to add value to business owners, leveraging JPM expertise, resources, and global network
Support Managing Director in providing strategic advice and assistance to Latin American business owners, by handling follow up and communications with the client
Identify and analyze topics of interest to LatAm business owners, such as managing a concentrated stock position, or setting up a Family Office to manage personal wealth
Attend to other ad hoc requests as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Spanish or Portuguese fluency required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Self-starter, extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
Good judgment and problem solving skills
Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
College degree required
PowerPoint and Excel expertise required

Experience in either Private Banking/Asset Management or Corporate & Investment Banking preferred
