Description We are in the process of recruiting an Auditing Clerk to be incorporated into our team, based in New York. The individual in this role will be tasked with handling various accounting and auditing tasks, including processing payments and invoices, maintaining account records, and assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Facilitate the smooth running of accounting functions by accurately processing payments, invoices, and receipts. Assist in the management of employee expense claims. Maintain accurate records by entering data into accounting software. Enhance vendor relations through effective handling of accounts payable. Ensure business account accuracy by verifying entries and alerting relevant personnel of any errors. Contribute to end-of-month and end-of-year closing procedures, including General Ledger account analysis and adjustments. Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports as needed. Facilitate the collections process within accounts receivable. Participate in the preparation of budgets and projections when required. Utilize skills in Adobe Acrobat, Concur, and other computer programs for efficient data processing and check processing.
