A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Job Summary :JCB Portfolio Management Admin supports credit analysts in preparation of credit application / borrower rating application, utilizing knowledge in accounting / credit process / banking products. Manage credit data for approx. 120 credit accounts. Play a key role in any data governance issues at Bank’s various systems / reporting. Produce several credit-related reports essential for portfolio management at JCB.Major responsibilities :

Manage customers’ financial information & database, 2. Originate credit applications / borrower rating applications:

Manage and validate various database related to financial information of approx. 120 JCB customers in the systems (e.g., G-CARS, Optimist, CDL, Project Coalition) using solid understanding of accounting and the Bank’s credit related policy / procedures.

Determine a specific scoring model based on borrower characteristics / industries, and run credit scoring models, including scenario analyses.

Originate credit applications / borrower rating applications in G-CARS; validate terms / conditions and assure data quality using the understanding of banking products.

For brand new market lines, apply for counterparty codes and initiate the booking instruction.

Portfolio management:

Manage parent company borrower rating information, routinely monitoring changes in parent ratings using the Bank’s systems / reporting. Request and obtain the parent company borrower rating information from Head Office and update the US systems in a timely manner.

Produce and in charge of some credit related reports (e.g., due date monitoring, special transactions)

Data management:

Proactively manage the credit related information and play a key role in data governance activities in various Bank’s systems.

Address any inconsistency in data quality and coordinate remediation efforts in cooperation with middle and back offices

Other:

Depending on your experience / knowledge / aspiration etc., special assignment (in credit related / portfolio management field) may be assigned after discussion with your manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Accounting knowledge (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS) required

Min. 2 years of working experience in large financial institutions or corporations

Excellent administrative skills / Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Experience in data management and / or detail oriented

Technical Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel / Word)

Bilingual Japanese / English preferred

Bachelor’s degree (or professional certificate) in accounting / finance / business

Working experience in credit administrative function, completion of formal credit training, or understanding of credit approval process, is a plus

The typical base pay range for this role is between $81K - $102K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
