Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Network Engineer in the financial services industry, based in New York, New York. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our enterprise infrastructure. Your role will include overseeing network routing, switching, and security, as well as managing storage area networks and firewall systems. Responsibilities: Supervise and maintain Cisco network routing, switching, and security systems Oversee the management of EMC and Sun STK storage area networks (SAN) Implement and monitor Check Point firewall and Fortinet FortiGate systems Administer Citrix infrastructure, including NetScaler/ADC, Storefront, and DDC Maintain and manage VMWare Infrastructure and Bitdefender GravityZone Oversee Microsoft infrastructure, including DNS, WINS, Active Directory, WSUS, SCCM, and group policy implementation Manage Linux server/CentOS/RHEL systems and Nagios monitoring Ensure Carbon black endpoint security and Splunk configuration are properly implemented Supervise the management of Aruba wireless infrastructure and Data Center architecture Oversee SSL Certificate management and system disaster recovery efforts. Requirements Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is required Experience with Checkpoint software is essential Must possess knowledge of Cisco ASA Familiarity with Cisco Routers is important Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is mandatory Experience with AB Testing is desirable Knowledge of Backup Technologies is fundamental Familiarity with Computer Hardware is necessary Experience with Configuration Management is crucial Understanding of Datacenter operations is required Proficiency in Cisco Networking is necessary Experience with FortiGate is a plus Familiarity with NetScaler is beneficial Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
