We provide private equity buyers with a broad continuum of knowledge and tools for mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, joint ventures and alliances.The team works across the full spectrum of the deal lifecycle from pre-deal, operational and synergy reviews, through 'Day-1' planning, to post-deal implementations. Manager: We are seeking individuals that can be part of a team that delivers large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and Real Estate solutions for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. A& M Managers frequently work on the following types of engagements:Pre-acquisition Real Estate diligence assignmentsMerger-integration and carve-out executionDay-1 and 100-day planning and executionImplement high quality deliverables and effectively manage the day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Qualifications: 5-8 years of professional consulting or real estate industry experience, with a minimum of five years specializing in pre and post transaction operational due diligence, merger integration, business transformation, and change managementExperience working for or with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction / merger integration experienceExperience working with multiple real estate asset classes (multi-family and single-family residential, office, industrial, retail, hospitality, data centers, public storage and others)Audit, Internal Audit or Accounting back ground preferred with knowledge of core business processes and internal controls requiredExperience with corporate real estate including portfolio strategy, site selection, economic incentives, lease administration a plus but not requiredDeep functional expertise in one of more of the following areas: Business / transformation program / project managementCollaboration and leading change to improve key business functions, such as finance/accountingBusiness assessment and strategy developmentBusiness performance improvement and cost reductionProperty ManagementAsset ManagementReal Estate Finance, Accounting, Treasury and/or FP& AReal Estate Acquisitions/DispositionsReal Estate ValuationDemonstrated track record working with business leaders as well as private equity deal staffAbility to work with and develop junior staffProven writing skills with a desire to produce polished client-facing documentsExcellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysisSpecific experience designing and supervising the execution of internally-focused and externally-focused change/communications strategy.Previous strategy and change management experience. Advisory experience from a top-tier strategy firm, leading specialist, niche advisory firm, or Big-4 consultancyBachelor's degree requiredFlexibility to travel at least 75% of timeThe salary range is $125, 000 - $190, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.
