Public Relations Associate - ResearchMorgan Stanley's Corporate Communications team is seeking a Public Relations Associate to drive integrated communications campaigns supporting the Research department. The dynamic candidate should have at least two years of experience in public relations, including media relations, preferably with financial services. A high degree of familiarity with national media outlets and reporters that focus on markets, finance, and business with a track record in securing coverage in these areas is encouraged.The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, making informed decisions in a fast-paced organization.Key Responsibilities

-Promote the Research department's thought leadership and initiatives across broadcast and print media outlets.-Serve as a key communications advisor to the Global Director of Research as well as senior analysts and strategists in the department. Partner closely with the leadership team to understand the department's strategic priorities through regular meetings and touchpoints.-Work with key stakeholders to set communications goals, develop media plans and identify opportunities, pitch story ideas, draft press releases, manage inbound media inquiries, coordinate interviews with executives, and serve as a media spokesperson when appropriate.-Manage distribution of research reports to key media outlets and arrange logistics for broadcast interviews as well as track and manage required compliance approvals.-Establish strong relationships with reporters and broadcast producers in major publications and business networks.-The position requires daily, proactive engagement with media to generate positive coverage of Morgan Stanley's initiatives and thought leadership, and coordination with both stakeholders and colleagues in internal communications and digital strategy to deliver impactful campaigns across Morgan Stanley's digital platforms.-In addition to media relations, the successful candidate will manage executive speaking engagements, oversee thought leadership content development, and the submission of rankings and lists. Skills Required:

Bachelors Degree

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
