Spread Technology Business Manager - Vice President

Reporting to the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Technology Business Manager, the primary function of the role is to provide comprehensive financial and strategic support to the Spread Technology organization including Credit Technology and Securitized Products Group Technology. The role will involve regular interaction with key stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Strategy and Front Office.Job Responsibilities:

Work with the Chief Business Technologist as a trusted partner to drive transparency and accountability of financials and support their business management needs.

Hold monthly business review meetings on financial results, risks and issues, and demand management

Systematic and accurate tracking and reporting of project roll-off, reinvestment, unfunded demand, infrastructure costs, productivity, vendor costs, forecasting and business allocations.

Support of workforce and location strategies

Partner with Technology Finance management to use standard financial reporting in all forums

Partner with Business and Technology to effectively deliver on the Delivery Roadmaps

Assist with communication of key Technology accomplishments and risks/issues to Global Business Heads as part of the quarterly governance review

Communicate and document all financial risks and opportunities across managed and allocated financials. Track, account for and explain allocations and variances for Technology costs to Front Office businesses.

Provide inputs to the global Business Controls Forums and Committees, highlighting key Technology risk/controls projects and production stability issues

Analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gaps and opportunities for optimization across variances toolsets and processes

Prioritize needs and investments based upon relationship insights, competitive positioning and industry research

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Successful candidates should have at least 6-8 years' experience in Business Management and / or strategy roles, preferably in Financial Services or Technology organizations.

Ability to synthesize information to formulate a "story" for Senior Management

Strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a 'can-do' attitude

Quick learner with strong attention to detail

Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures

Team player comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style environment

Excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills - as well as written and verbal communication

Professional maturity, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills; Ability to receive and act upon feedback

High-level of proficiency in MS-Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)

Requirements:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field, plus three years of experience in the position offered or as IT Audit Manager or IT Audit Senior Manager.One year of the required experience must have included participating in and project managing technology audits including risk assessments, audit planning, audit testing, control evaluation, report drafting, and follow up and verification of issue closure; knowledge of SDLC concepts, financial services, financial reporting, change management, incident management, identity and access management; applying professional standards including IIA, ISACA, and SSAE 16; knowledge of COBIT and controls around third-party governance and oversight; reviewing ITGC and controls around information security to perform IT risk identification, IT risk assessment, risk response mitigation, and risk and control monitoring reporting; and working with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and cloud computing in a complex distributed computing environment. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
