Chef de Cuisine needed to run all aspects of the kitchen for this soon to open 300 seat Oceanfront Restaurant in beautiful and bustling Pensacola Beach, Florida. Southern creative local seafood cooking utilizing fresh ingredients is the focus of the menu. This stunning property is being opened by a NYC based hospitality group with future growth opportunities. Pensacola Beach is a fast growing oceanfront community located in the Floribama Panhandle, close to coastal towns in Alabama, Mississippi, and New Orleans, LA.
Must have experience running high volume, and large capacity restaurants. Competitive salary, health benefits, PTO, as well as relocation are offered.

Responsibilities:
Cooking (Yes, this position is hands on)
Order supplies, food and ingredients based on rapidly shifting demand
Hire and train kitchen staff in specific stations, and cross-train as necessary
Kitchen staff scheduling
Maintain inventory levels and conduct full monthly inventory / food cost analysis
Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
Qualifications:
5+ years culinary experience
5+ years restaurant management experience
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to lead and motivate the BOH team
Capable of conducting and assessing restaurant inventory
Competent in basic computer skills, e.g. email, google drive, word, excel, etc.
