Corporate Chef Latin/Greek Cuisine Needed!

We are seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our five restaurants located in Brooklyn and South Orange (4 currently open and one will open in 3/2025). The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety, manage kitchen staff, and drive operational efficiency across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise kitchen operations across 3 restaurants in Brooklyn and 2 in South Orange.

Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including:

o Food purchasing and vendor negotiations

o Food costing and cost control

o Food preparation and adherence to recipe standards

o Food safety protocols and compliance

o Training and development of head cooks and kitchen staff

o Cleaning and maintenance routines

o Waste management and documentation

o Inventory management and invoicing

o Scheduling and labor control

Maintain exceptional quality and presentation of food.

Oversee brunch and catering functions.

Develop and update menus, including daily specials.

Construct and maintain recipe books for all restaurants.

Act as the lead contact for the Department of Health.

Qualifications for Success:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in various kitchen roles, including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter.

Experience with Latin and Greek cuisines is essential.

Valid NYC Food Handlers and ServSafe Manager Certification.

At least 6 months of experience in a similar management capacity.

Passion for food and culinary excellence.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong teams.

Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders, including team members, management, and guests.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
