Job Summary
As a Host/Maitre D', you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Your role will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring the seamless operation of the dining area to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable and Resy.
- Communicate efficiently with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with care and professionalism.
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience.
- Collaborate with management to continually improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in training and onboarding new hosts and team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a host or customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTable is required; knowledge of Resy is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
