Bar & Restaurant located near Times Square is looking for a Manager/Assistant Manager to join the team.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years of Management/Assistant Management experience in a Hospitality Industry
- Bartending and serving experience
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Extensive bar & food knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (7am-4:30pm and 3:30pm-1am shifts), weekends and holidays
- Ability to work through stressful situations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to uphold and implement service standards
- Valid certificate from an Alcohol Training Awareness Program
- Valid NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Food Protection Certification
- Experience with POSiTouch POS system
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing the establishment
- Inventory
- Placing orders
- Accepting deliveries of food, beer, wine and liquor (must be able to lift at least 40 lb)
- Overseeing morning kitchen preparations
- Maintaining safe and healthy environment by following and enforcing Department of Health regulations
- Overseeing FOH and BOH team during service to ensure efficient and effective service and guest satisfaction
- End of shift reports
Salary range: $1,200-$1,500 per week, based on experience.
