An established restaurant is seeking a highly qualified Restaurant Manager. This role involves managing the restaurant's operations, enhancing employee performance, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will ensure superior service and product quality, drive brand and value initiatives, and foster staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations and assignments. Plan and organize work, set goals, and assign tasks. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and resolve issues effectively.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in food and service quality, restaurant appearance, and cleanliness. Implement preventative maintenance programs to protect restaurant assets. Meet productivity and quality targets.
Event and Reservation Management: Handle inbound calls and manage OpenTable reservations efficiently.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for guests, employees, and restaurant assets. Meet safety compliance goals and adhere to all standards and inspection requirements.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Floor Manager in a casual fine-dining restaurant or cocktail bar in New York City
NYC Food Handlers Certificate
Proficiency with all social media platforms
Ability to perform and delegate tasks efficiently under high pressure
Extensive experience in managing a diverse staff with a focus on training, coaching, and teamwork
Commitment to maintaining high standards and a refusal to settle for less
