We are a family of four living in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, seeking a dedicated and organized Home Personal Assistant to help manage household and family-related tasks. Our family includes two working parents, a 3-year-old, and a 7-month-old, and we need someone to handle various organizational and household responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities include various tasks typically handled by a stay-at-home spouse, including:
- Manage kids’ activities and school calendar
- Buy birthday gifts (e.g., for classmates’ birthdays) and plan family travel
- Swap out seasonal clothing for the children
- Order groceries and handle other household tasks
- Work in coordination with the full time nanny and other morning / night / weekend babysitters
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Educated, well-spoken, and responsible
- Able to work in person in Manhattan when required
- Flexible availability, approximately 5-10 hours per week (open to discussing a minimum number of hours; more hours available if you are proving to be helpful for our family)
Compensation:
- $20-$30/hour, based on experience and competence level
