The Dual Store Manager will lead two of IT’SUGAR’S stores and will oversee the store’s operations, sales, and visual standards to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of retail programs and overall store success of both locations. Oversees the daily sales and back of house operation and ensures sales objectives are met for both locations.
Evaluates daily operations on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations/initiates action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
Holds self and store teams accountable to our Core Values and coaches to the behaviors associated with them.
Makes staffing decisions including employment, training, task assignment, promotion, discipline and termination for assigned functions.
Fosters a productive work environment through consistent coaching, training and engagement of Sales Associates.
Trains and holds store team accountable for our customer engagement model, IT’SUGARTAINMENT.
Must be proficient in product knowledge.
Promotes safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
Recruit Great Talent:
Responsible for proactively attracting and retaining qualified candidates to ensure proper backfill for all leadership positions in both locations. Recruiting and networking with internal and external candidates with a proven ability to develop and maintain sincere, authentic relationships.
Interviews and selects candidates based on IT’SUGAR’S care values.
Onboard, train and coach Associates/Supervisors and ensures that policies and procedures are adhered to.
Achieve Sales Goals:
Follows through on customer requests for specific items and suggests additional products.
Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.
Establish a Collaborative Selling Culture in the Store and ensures Associates/Supervisors are trained in all IT’SUGAR selling training programs.
Manage Store Operations
Oversees all operational standards, including the timely execution of pricing, signage, replenishment, plan-o-grams, shipping, receiving and maintenance of inventory accuracy and product flow.
Oversee the execution of store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures.
Maintains allocated budget for both locations store.
Ensures both stores follow all visual guidelines and supports the brand image.
Oversees the planning and set-up for special events and promotions.
Maintains consistent communication with Supervisors regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory.
Understands all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicates LP issues with the store leadership team and escalates to District Manager as needed.

What you need to join the fun (besides SUGAR):
High School diploma or equivalent.
5-7 years of retail experience.
Prior sales and management experience in a retail environment required.
Minimum 3 years of multi-unit experience.
Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to use a POS/cash register.
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs. Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Able to work independently and lead a team of retail managers.
Must be able to travel between locations.
