We offer dynamic career paths, robust development, opportunities to learn from talented colleagues around the globe, and benefits that support physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing.Join us to innovate for impact and reimagine the future of health and nutrition for patients and consumers.Job Description:The Senior Field Sales Specialist (Natural Chain) will be responsible for representing the Garden of Life, Solgar, Vital Proteins, Nuun and other assigned specialty brands (such as vitamins and supplements) with the sales and service of products, programs and services to independent and Key Account Retail locations such as Wegmans, Mom’s Organic and other independent Natural Channel grocers/stores. This position supports Sales within the Southeast NY area including Rockland and Hudson Counties, as well as in Poughkeepsie and Fishkill, New York, to Northern New Jersey (including Secaucus, NJ). When not travelling in the field, this role is a remote-based opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct daily on-site visits to retail locations within a defined territory to consultatively sell concepts such as category management, brand block sets, and quarterly business planning. Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel at each retail location while continuously providing product and brand education. Understand and present strategic and conceptual retail programs. Collaborate consistently with co-workers, regional team members, and management. Produce weekly/monthly reports and participate in regional conference calls. Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by Field Sales Manager.Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years of Outside Sales or Retail Sales experience required, preferably within the natural vitamins or supplements space. Current or prior experience selling to large Natural Grocers such as Sprouts Markets and/or smaller independent Natural Grocers is highly preferred. Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required. Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, follow-up and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships). Must be detail-oriented, agile and able to multi-task/prioritize tasks based on the needs of the team and the business. Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Must have excellent time management, revenue generating and customer service skills. Current or prior knowledge of brands such as Garden of Life, Vital Proteins or Solgar is a plus. Must possess strong self-initiative and accountability. Willing and able to travel up to and including 90%, working in the field up to and including 4 days/week (including a few weekly overnights per month) required.The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
