Category Construction Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Location Rochester Description Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Directional Drill Foreman to oversee directional drilling operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will manage a drilling crew, ensure project compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensure timely completion for projects.Essential Functions:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of directional drilling crews, including operators and laborers.

Safely operate a pick-up truck or bigger while towing a trailer.

Oversee daily on-site operations to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to project deadlines and address any issues that arise.

Review project plans and specs to ensure accurate execution of drilling activities.

Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed to maintain a safe work environment.

Provide training and guidance to crew members on equipment operation, safety procedures and best practices.

Communicate effectively with management to report progress and address concerns.

Prepare and maintain documentation related to drilling activities, including progress reports, redlines, incident reports and call in Dig tickets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

CDL-A license required.

Strong knowledge of directional drilling techniques, safety practices, and equipment maintenance.

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a crew.

Extensive experience in directional drilling operations, including previous experience in a supervisory role.

Basic computer skills including basic understanding of Excel, Adobe, Outlook.

Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.

Good communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.

Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to scoop, bend, and lift up to 75lbs.

Ability to work in the following environments: Outside. Hot, cold, rain, snow.

Ability to travel out of state when required.

Ability to be on call.

Travel:50%Compensation:Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly pay-range for this position is $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr.The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
