Landscape Laborer - 16 fulltime, temporary, peakload (H-2B) jobs available 03/03/2025-12/04/2025Employer: Clover Lawn Care, Inc. dba Clover Lawn and Landscape, 485 N. Landing Road, Rochester, NY 14625.Duties: Raking, mulching, digging holes for plants, doing general clean up of yards. Loading/unloading trucks with plant materials and pruning shrubs. Must be able to lift 60 pounds. Transportation will be provided from a central location to and from worksites in the following counties: Monroe, Wayne, and Ontario.Work Hours: Mon-Fri, some Saturdays may be required. 7:30am-4:30pm, 40 hours/week at $18.76/hour. Possible OT (varies) at $28.14/hour. Raises at employer discretion. Opportunity for higher pay depending on experience.No education or experience required. Employer will accept a trainee. Employer will provide on-the-job training. Random drug testing during employment, at employer expense. All drug testing is performed without regard to an employee's citizenship or immigration status, and all testing is paid for by the company. Pre-hire background check required. All background checks are performed equally as to U.S. workers and H-2B workers, and all fees are paid for by the company. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
