Ensure all Medicaid billing compliance is met. Essential Functions :
Assures all record keeping and documentation requirements meet billing and Medicaid Compliance standards.
Ensure housing payments and billing meets Federal, State and local regulations, while engaging in continuous learning and being up to date on changing regulations.
Handles correspondence and collaboration with people supported, vendors, and support team members in a timely and professional manner.
Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally to establish open communication and dialogue.
Assists in maintaining and tracking all documents needed for person to receive their housing subsidy.
Completion of Housing report monthly.
Completes and submits monthly housing administrative billing per ADM
Performs other duties as assigned by Self-Direction Supervisor and/or designee within scope of practice.
Compliance:
Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion concerning all business-related matters, including but not limited to board/vendors/donors’ names, investigations, finance, operations, and employee relations matters.
Must be willing to complete specific company required trainings as mandated by our governing agency, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), at time of hire and annually thereafter.
Must adhere to all departmental/company policies & procedures at all times & ensure compliance with direct report.

Education and Experience:
Minimum HS Degree or GED with three (3) years related experience. in related field, Bachelor’s degree preferred with one (1) year Self-Direction experience.
Computer:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and more. Ability to learn electronic record keeping systems such as eVero. Able to manage team calendars and perform data entry.
Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License.
Mature interpersonal/professional skills to effectively collaborate, resolve issues, and maintain confidentiality.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to use poise, tact, and diplomacy, during difficult and/or stressful situations
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, and customer requests, while meeting deadlines

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs
While performing the duties of this position, exposure to changing weather conditions will occur.
This position is Hybrid
Pay Rate- $51,000/yr.-$52,000/yr.
