Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Rochester, New York. This role falls within the accounting industry where you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records and processing customer applications. Responsibilities Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain and review general ledger accounts Prepare and adjust journal entries as necessary Conduct account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany transactions Post accruals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis Prepare financial statements and trial balances Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules Provide audit support and prepare for risk assessments Conduct variance analysis and ad-hoc reporting Assist in budget preparation and conduct monthly budget variance analysis.
