This position will support the Wholesale Lending Data Services application. The application currently supports various data integration and reporting requirements for the business and is built using big data ecosystem tools.Responsibilities include:
Act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
Prepare specifications for system changes.
Develop systems test plan components and test scripts.
Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
Analyze highly complex business requirements and design and write technical specifications to design or redesign complex applications.
Partner with the data sources on data analysis, SLAs, and requirements analysis.
Test the data loaded by developers to provide first line of verification before turning over the data to business/other teams to verify.
Support the development team with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and application compliance requirements.
Maintain application documentation, data flows, and lineage.
Assist in production issues requiring data analysis, finding solutions and partnering to communicate/implement the solutions.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of Big Data
2+ years of Agile experience
Ability to act as a liaison between the technical design staff and business requester to ensure all requirements are met
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Ability to manage complex data collection and analysis activities including conducting extensive source-to-target mapping exercises
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data
Knowledge and understanding of application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, implementation and production support
