Banking Specialist

The Banking Specialist is primarily responsible for the management of the Paycom Pay product, but also provides support for daily cash positioning and compliance-related processes as needed. As primary support for the Paycom Pay product, this team performs check management processes on behalf of clients and fields related inquiries from clients.RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer void, stale or stop payment transactions on behalf of clients in each Paycom Pay Bank

Administer credit transactions to clients related to void, stop or stale issues

Research and/or verify issued checks for external parties

Partner with banks, check verification companies, and check cashing establishments to address or resolve check processing issues

Oversee check fraud claims on behalf of clients

Prepare client billing reports for ancillary banking services performed

Support to Investments and Compliance teams for processes including daily cash positioning and unclaimed property

Assist Team Leader with updating policies, procedures and monthly reports

QualificationsEducation/Certification:

High School or GED

Experience:

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

1+ years of work experience in Banking Operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business

Experience:

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation

Skills/Abilities:

Effective verbal and written communication

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Extremely detail oriented

Strong ability to follow through and think critically

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures

Ability to work overtime hours (if needed)

Strong presentation skills preferred

Ability to translate data points to better understand team performance preferred
