Resident Manager - Adult Foster Home - $3500/Month
Be part of an organized and professional care team in a Medford DD Adult Foster Home.
This is a live-in position. The compensation package includes $3500/month, complimentary fully furnished master bedroom and half bath, all utilities (including wifi), and food provided. In addition, this position includes paid vacation days after six months of employment and a $500/month raise if performance is satisfactory. Other complimentary services are offered upon job acceptance. There is possibility for growth and increase in pay in this position after one year of employment. The Resident Manager will be compensated for the hours of training and licensing upon start of job.
The Resident Manager is responsible for management of day-to-day Foster Home operations, which includes management and primary caregiver responsibilities of up to four Adult Foster Home residents. The applicant must assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, transferring, and other daily care needs. Must be able to work independently, answer phones, follow instructions, be assertive, and keep the home clean and organized. Prepare and serve meals, administer medications, perform housekeeping, laundry, and other tasks as assigned throughout the day. Must maintain good boundaries and routines already set in the home.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to pass a background check
Possess physical health, mental health, good judgment, and good personal character, in order to provide 24 hour care for developmentally disabled adults
Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and communicate in English orally and in writing.
Have and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification
Study and pass the examination for DDS caregiving
1 year minimum experience providing care for developmentally disabled individuals (ask for more clarification)
