We are a company that truly respects and cares for all who provide care for our residents. We focus on learning and growth to constantly improve and make an impact in the lives of our elderly residents. You will find close support from our Administrator, Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.

This is a Live-in caregiving position. The compensation package includes $3500/month, a separate private living area in the residence, all utilities (including WIFI), and food provided. Work 5 days on with 2 days off each week. We do our best to proactively reward our employees when they are consistent with their work and when they have gone above and beyond to provide excellent care for our residents.

We utilize electronic medication administration records (EMAR) and electronic health records (EHR) to streamline our care, making the duties of the resident manager and caregivers significantly easier.

The Resident Manager is the most important position in an Adult Foster Home, which carries a lot of responsibility, but also brings a great level of job satisfaction. The Resident Manager is able to manage time wisely while being responsible for the management of day-to-day Foster Home operations. This includes day-to-day management, and primary caregiver responsibilities of up to five Adult Foster Home residents. The applicant must assist clients with eating, personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, transferring, ambulation, and other activities of daily living. Must be able to work independently, answer phones, manage appointments for the residents, coordinate with healthcare providers and pharmacies, follow instructions, and perform delegated nursing tasks. Must also prepare and serve nutritious meals, administer medications, maintain a clean living environment through housekeeping, and laundry. Assist to develop and carry out activity programs and weekly menus. Must be able to recognize abnormal health findings and communicate that to the licensee and primary care provider.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must be able to pass a background check

Possess physical health, mental health, good judgment, and good personal character, in order to provide 24 hour care for the elderly

Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and communicate in English orally and in writing.

Have and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification

Attend a DHS-approved orientation program

Attend the Department's Ensuring Quality Care Course and pass the examination

2 years minimum experience providing care for elderly individuals.
