Private apartment and starting pay $23 hr. for 42 year old physically disabled wheelchair user. Apartment located at 777 NE 8th St, Gresham is clean with a roll in shower. The secure building has off street parking. Client can completely direct his care.
The following times are needed:
Mon Tue Wed Thu evenings 6-10pm
Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday 9am-5pm and 6pm-10pm
(This can also be a 13 hr)
Also available is Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm
Daytime help: ADL’s, dressing in bed, transferring from bed to wheelchair and wheelchair to toilet and shower chair, preparing meals, showering, light housekeeping and washing. Caregiver also drives wheelchair van to appointments, PT, shopping, and to see daughter.
Evening help: ADL’s, transferring from wheelchair to toilet and bed, nighttime preparation with stretching, undressing and positioning in bed, light housekeeping and doing errands.
Spin disc standing transfer does not require dead weight lift of 6’1” 180 lb client but does require strength and a care provider 5’5” or taller.
Applicants need to have reliable transportation, a clean (last 3 years) drivers license, some caregiving experience and can pass a background check.
