Position will be opening some time in August dependent on licensing.
Live-in/Resident care manager position avail. "salary pay" Room to house 1 Person or a couple with at most 2 children we estimate for this position.
Position is for 4 days a week. With 3 days off from 7am-7:30pm will have to let covering caregiver go home at 7:30pm and sleep onsite.
This is an adult care home with a maximum of 5 residents 65 and older at anytime.
IMPORTANT Applicant must have atleast 2-3 Years of VERIFIABLE experience. This means pay stubs or tax transcript showing that you have worked in this health care setting previously. At this time only applicants meeting this criteria can apply for this live-in position. Working in an adult care home or assisted living. Traveling caregiver will not be accepted to verify experience.
Classes to have or able to attain if hired. This position and requirements are to work in Multnomah county.

Responsibilities
-
Help clients take prescribed medication
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
Perform light housekeeping duties
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
-
Must be 21 yrs or older.
Proven experience as a caregiver
Able to read and write in English
Able to pass a background check
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Has Multnomah County adult care home program caregiver trainings or willing to attain them as listed above.
