IT Support Technician

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an IT Support Technician role in the technology industry, based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing first-line support for IT-related issues and requests, maintaining a high level of customer service, and staying updated with software product knowledge and infrastructure components.Responsibilities: Deliver first-line assistance for IT-related concerns and inquiries, employing various modes of communication such as phone, email, and remote management tools. Collaborate and maintain communication with other support staff to ensure incidents are resolved and requests are addressed. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to PC software, hardware, and peripherals in a Windows environment. Set up and configure PC workstations using Microsoft Windows 10 / 11, and install and configure applications and utilities in accordance with IT SOPs. Identify and resolve issues with mobile devices across both Android and Apple platforms. Document and track incidents and requests from identification through resolution. Contribute to the IT knowledge base by documenting internal procedures and standard operating procedures. Occasionally travel as required by the role.Requirements Proficient in using Office 365, with the ability to troubleshoot common issues. Experience working with Active Directory, including user account creation and management. Strong skills in hardware troubleshooting, including diagnosing and resolving issues with computer systems and peripherals.
