Are you ready to change the way the world moves?In this positionAs the Associate Director of M&A Integration, you will lead the strategic integration of merged and acquired entities, Joint Ventures, and other strategic partnership driving the overall success of these initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire integration process, from due diligence to post-merger integration, ensuring that synergies are realized, and value is maximized. This leadership role demands a high level of strategic vision, operational expertise, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.What you'll do

Develop and oversee comprehensive integration strategies and plans for all mergers and acquisitions.

Support the due diligence process led by Corporate Development to identify integration opportunities, challenges, and risks.

Define integration objectives, success metrics, and timelines in collaboration with business unit leadership.

Direct and manage cross-functional integration teams, ensuring effective execution of integration activities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all integration-related matters, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.

Monitor integration progress, proactively addressing any issues or deviations from the plan.

Facilitate communication and change management initiatives to support a smooth transition.

Ensure that all integration activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Drive synergy identification and realization, focusing on cost-saving and value-enhancing opportunities.

Report on integration status, progress, and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors.

Lead post-integration evaluation to ensure that strategic goals are achieved and sustained.

Mentor and develop a team of integration managers and specialists.

You'll have

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, integration management, or a related field.

Combination of prior corporate and management consulting experience is a plus

Extensive experience leading large-scale, complex integration projects.

Deep understanding of financial statements, valuation principles, and strategic planning.

Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant integration tools and software.

Even better, you may have

Certification in Project Management (PMP) or related credentials.

Experience in a senior integration role within a large, global organization.

Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced integration software.

Familiarity with international M&A activities and cross-border integrations.

Expertise in cultural integration and change management post-merger.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.

Background in strategic consulting or advisory roles in M&A.

Fluency in multiple languages.

This role collaborates with the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) therapeutic area medical director and Global Medical Affairs Leads (GMAL) in the development of comprehensive strategic global publication plans. The Senior Director, Medical Communications, also provides therapeutic area lead oversight for publication plans and directly manages medical communication lead(s) in the therapeutic area. The Senior Director, Medical Communications also oversees medical content creation for the therapeutic area including the development of MSL slide decks and medical booth content. The Senior Director, Medical Communications is also responsible for leadership of the successful and timely implementation of publication and scientific plans within budget. He/she is responsible for aligning and coordinating publication and medical communication strategy at the global level.
