The Director of Operational Excellence will partner with the President and Vice Presidents of the Region to drive effective operations and achieve the strategic and financial objectives of the region. The Director of Operational Excellence will drive Allied Universal’s best practices in the region, lead the rollout of new initiatives, and deliver on the core strategic and financial objectives of the region.RESPONSIBILITIES:Caring Leadership and Client Intimacy:

Partner with the Regional President and Vice Presidents in driving a high performing region that includes coaching, support, and recognition, while fostering accountability

Take an active leadership role in executing on the region’s business strategies

Encourage a collaborative and inclusive work environment to promote teamwork, open communication, and professional development

Develop a culture of accountability and customer service through our Client Satisfaction Tool and related client retention processes

Support branches and leaders that need additional oversight

Mentor new General and Branch Managers; provide direction, guidance materials, recommend career development tools

Mentor Operational Excellence Managers; provide guidance on best management practices, and recommend career development tools

Operational Oversight and Safety:

Analyze, report, and drive operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Allied Universal's Business Intelligence Platform, maximizing efficiency and productivity

Manage special projects within the region including supporting startups, rolling out new initiatives, and driving emergency and disaster response

Participate in the development and lead implementation of corporate playbooks

Financial Performance and Growth:

Build a culture of focus on key operational metrics and support branches in achieving those metrics

Help the region achieve growth, margin expansion, transformation, and other priorities of the Region President

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Must possess one of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Finance, or related field of study

Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Finance, or related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of management experience in the service industry

High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience in the service industry

Minimum of five (5) years of experience one of the following:

Allied Universal General Manager, Branch Manager, or Operations Management experience

Front-line/mid-level management experience in the service industry

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in successfully building and developing teams

Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, and achieving desired results

Results-oriented problem-solving skills

Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office and (BI) Business Intelligence tools for metrics analysis, reporting, automation, and presentations

Dynamic networking skills displaying a commitment to safety and trust by participating in local community, client, and industry events

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Prior experience in business transformation activities centered on process design/re-design resulting in operational efficiency improvement and sustainment

Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Finance, or related field of study

Prior experience implementing a business process management system (MRP, ERP, SAP, etc.)

American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification

The Senior Director, Medical Communications, also provides therapeutic area lead oversight for publication plans and directly manages medical communication lead(s) in the therapeutic area. The Senior Director, Medical Communications also oversees medical content creation for the therapeutic area including the development of MSL slide decks and medical booth content. The Senior Director, Medical Communications is also responsible for leadership of the successful and timely implementation of publication and scientific plans within budget.
