Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThe Director, Chief of Staff Business Operations is responsible for supporting the $8B Enterprise and Public Sector business. The position is responsible for being the Chief of Staff, as well as managing and driving critical cross-functional initiatives. This role provides visibility across EVP, Large Enterprise, Key Accounts and Public Sector’s scope of responsibility to enable better decision making, identification of key focus areas, and progress tracking of top initiatives aligned with regional, functional, and corporate objectives as outlined by the North Star and Change Imperatives.The Main Responsibilities

Critical adviser to the EVP, Large Enterprise, Key Accounts and Public Sector and subsequent leadership team in progressing key objectives and identifying and solving challenges.

Develop and refine management system to ensure visibility by consistent monitoring of the business objectives, including all key leading indicators from a financial and operational perspective.

Develop key messages and create presentations on behalf of senior executive by representing and communicating the priorities of leadership across the entire Lumen organization.

Manage and drive critical cross-functional initiatives including CEO Change Imperatives

Provide oversight of, and creation of, linkages for cross-functional projects, initiatives, and efforts across the senior leadership team

Manage a team of cross-functional program managers and project managers.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelors’ degree in Business, Operations, or related field

8+ years of related experience

5+ years management experience

Recognizable as a leader by possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of executives and constituencies

Strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success

Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Ability to work in a fast paced and independent environment

Ability to build and sustain high performing teams

Experience in liaising with multiple operational contacts at executive and senior management levels

High degree of adaptability

Strong Excel, quantitative, and technical skills

Experience working for publicly held, US owned, global corporation Ability to support multiple locations

CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
