Collaborate with the talent and external impact teams to develop and execute an outreach strategy that builds brand awareness, maximizes exposure, and ultimately drives application volume. Venues to accomplish this work include (but aren’t limited to)
Social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
KPPS website
Other advertising venues (radio spots, magazine ads, etc.)
Email campaigns
Independently (and occasionally in conjunction with a graphic design consultant) develop, clear, compelling, polished content for social media, website, internal/external communication.
Consistently track and analyze data linked to outreach strategies, refining and adjusting our approach in response to data
Research, register for, and serve as a team representative at local and national career fairs, hiring events, and university fairs
Event Planning & Execution
Design, launch and lead internal professional development events focused on emerging topics (e.g., staff wellness) and onboarding (e.g., New to KIPP Orientation)
Design, launch and lead external-facing hiring events (virtual and in-person) that increase applicant volume
Ensure all events are properly publicized and well-attended, and that all logistical information is clearly and effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders
Job Posting Management
Ensure that all KPPS opportunities are publicized on local and national job boards in a timely, accurate fashion
Build relationships with new and existing external partners and regularly communicate available opportunities to them
Post new positions on all appropriate websites, monitor traffic, close postings when hires are made
Operations Management
Maintain our team budget, own the reimbursement process, and track expenses/payments
Coordinate team or candidate travel as needed
Maintain library of job descriptions, selection materials, internal policy, and all other team-critical documents
Design and order recruitment materials as needed
Support the preparation of board materials related to hiring
Provide flexible “back end” support to recruiters during peak hiring season as needed – source new candidates, screen resumes, conduct reference checks, etc.

Ability to communicate information to a variety of stakeholders clearly and effectively
Results-oriented, flexible team player who is dedicated to getting the job done
Personable and approachable; able to build rapport with candidates quickly and ensure a positive candidate experience
Possess the confidence, grace and humility to advocate for new ideas, dotted-line manage senior peers, AND execute administrative tasks
Experience in event planning, marketing/communications, and/or social media/website management strongly preferred
