Description We are offering an opportunity for an Estate Administration Paralegal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is based in the legal industry and provides a long-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be proficient in various software applications and have a deep understanding of estate administration processes. Responsibilities: Accurately process decedent estate planning documents and maintain detailed records. Utilize software like Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for efficient case management. Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely and accurate information. Leverage knowledge of estate law and estate planning procedures to ensure all client needs are met. Brief team members on the status of estate administration cases regularly. Manage calendars and deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Administer estate claims in accordance with legal regulations. If familiar, use Lachner software to streamline estate administration processes. Manage billing functions for the estate administration process. Provide comprehensive estate law services, ensuring client satisfaction at all times. Requirements Possess proficiency in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, CompuLaw. Capable of managing billing functions, preparing briefs, and overseeing calendar management. Experience in claim administration and strong communication skills. Familiarity with estate planning and estate law. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is desirable.
