Position Summary:

The National Facilities Manager will manage multiple building operations and maintenance for Benco's portfolio of buildings. This role coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work. Additionally, the role is responsible for a fleet of 300+ vehicles and will manage a wide variety of tasks related to the operation, maintenance and repair of enterprise-wide fleet vehicles. Areas of responsibility include: general fleet program management, fuel card system management, GPS tracking system management, fleet service and maintenance management, safe driver initiatives, fleet vehicle incident and accident reporting, and policy & procedure compliance.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system. Working knowledge of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. Working knowledge of leases, contracts and related documents.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

Understanding of auto maintenance

Attends client meetings.Responsible for facilities inspections and reports, including all infrastructure for Benco's multiple DC'sObtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.Manages capital projects as well as prepares capital project and operating budget and variance reportsManages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order proceduresResponsible for invoice processing and accuracyResponsible for developing and maintaining Benco's site security process and proceduresCoordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial workProvides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Provides leadership and coaching that fosters an environment of problem solving, improved business practices, and att acts and retains superior talent. Continually recruit, train, and develop a first-class team.Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtimePrepares and delivers performance appraisal for staffMentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's valuesManage day to day fleet operationsDevelops, reviews and updates fleet program standards, policies and procedures with a focus on operational effectiveness, cost efficiency and vehicle usage compliance in order to meet established business strategiesBudgeting, reporting and creating performance metricsControl and monitor expenses and budget variances to company tolerancesMaintain a mechanically safe operation of fleetManage relationships with fleet vendors and fleet leasing companyParticipate as a member of the Benco Accident Review Committee and attend scheduled meetingsParticipate as a member of the Benco Liability Insurance Review committee and attend scheduled meetings

Do YOU meet these requirements?

High School Diploma or GED

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business, technical or management areas Preferred

4-6 years related experience and or training. Must possess deep knowledge of dock door, dock lock, conveyance repair and maintenance as well as security process and procedures

1-3 years fleet management experience
