Job Description:The Director I, Construction Support position directs the operations of a multi-discipline department within the Construction Support group, which provides construction and technical support to projects during the conceptual, design, and construction phases of a project. This position typically supports the functional aspects for assigned functions to the corporate construction group and any of the business groups. This position may serve as a Department Manager for a functional discipline. Provide assistance and technical direction to business units Develop departmental construction support programs and procedures Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job, formal training, development opportunities, and timely performance feedback Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business groups, lines, functions, and locations Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action Other duties as assignedJob ID: 146575BRCity: AikenState: South CarolinaCountry: United StatesWe are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
