Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Facilities Engineer for one of our clients who is in fiber glass manufacturing industry. This role would require to be onsite Aiken, SC from 6am - 4pm. The facilities engineer will be responsible for the planning, implementing and maintaining of the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities including HVAC equipment, chillers, process water distribution systems, scrubbers, boilers, plumbing, electrical, etc. The Facility Engineer personally leads a multi-craft crew of approximately 25 people or more. The Facility Engineer reports to the Maintenance Department Leader.The responsibilities of the facilities engineer would include: - Project Management Obtain Competitive Quotes, Write and Justify Capital Appropriation Requests, Coordinate and execute Capital Projects. - Determine facility and equipment specifications. - Gather and analyze data, blueprints and reports. - Design and oversee the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems and controls. - Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities. - Oversee and supervise team of maintenance technicians including reviewing team activities on the manufacturing floor. - Manage and review service contractsPerform make versus buy analyses to determine if in-house maintenance labor or contractor labor is more cost effective.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
