Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Greenville, South Carolina. The role involves processing and maintaining customer data, coding invoices, and handling customer inquiries, among other responsibilities. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Enter and code invoices Review Purchase Orders (PO's) to ensure accuracy Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date customer records Ensure all account payable activities are carried out efficiently Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel for day-to-day tasks.Requirements Must have a thorough understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Proficiency in coding invoices is required Demonstrated experience in data entry tasks Expertise in invoice processing is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required Strong attention to detail and accuracy is needed Preference for candidates with a relevant degree or professional certification in Accounting or FinanceRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
