Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects, including utility-scale CT and CCGT power plants as well as behind-the-meter (BTM) and distributed energy solutions such as battery energy storage systems (BESS), fuel cells, hybrid generation systems, and microgrids.This role is responsible for full lifecycle project execution, supporting clients across traditional and emerging power solutions aligned with reliability, decarbonization, and energy resilience objectives.Responsibilities: Manage stakeholders including Owner/Developers, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects across:CT (simple cycle) and CCGT (combined cycle) plantsBTM power solutions (BESS, fuel cells, CHP, hybrid systems)Define and execute integrated project delivery strategies across conventional and distributed energy assetsAct as primary client interface, overseeing all phases of a project from development through commissioning and startup.Manage Capital budgets ($100M–$2B+), Level 1–3 schedules, risk, commercial, and contract strategiesInterface with EPC contractors and OEMs (GE, Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi Power, BESS integrators, fuel cell providers)Ensure compliance with HSSE, regulatory, interconnection, and permitting requirementsManage commercial risk, claims, and change managementBuild and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teamsSupport business development and client growth initiatives, particularly in energy transition and resiliency solutionsVerify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilizedEnsure application of industry best practice on all projects.Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required.Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are applied correctly.Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.Forecast and update key project milestones.Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.Rapid response to RFIs from the field.Provide advisory expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives.Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured.Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processesSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
