Accounts Payable Manager

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager in Coppell, Texas, in the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry. The role is crucial in implementing ERP, auditing pcards, managing data entry, and reconciling statements. The successful candidate will interact with team members across the company and contribute to the efficient running of our accounts payable process.Responsibilities Implementing and managing the ERP system to streamline the accounts payable process Conducting regular audits of pcards and liaising with stores and Corporate Cards regarding missing receipts Processing and coding invoices received from the stores, ensuring timely and accurate data entry Maintaining regular communication with the store management team regarding invoice receiving Ensuring all purchases from vendors are recorded in the appropriate period Analyzing and monitoring vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Overseeing day-to-day management of vendor invoices and general ledger entries Assisting in the implementation of a new process for more frequent inventory counts Managing turnover data entry and ensuring all information is accurately recorded. Requirements Proven experience of 5+ years in an Accounts Payable Manager role or similar capacity within the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry. Proficiency in managing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Demonstrated knowledge of working with the general ledger, including posting entries and balancing accounts. Experience in day-to-day management of the accounts payable team, including workflow scheduling and performance monitoring. Strong ability to implement and maintain accounts payable procedures and policies. Excellent analytical skills to evaluate payment and cost data and derive meaningful insights. Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant digital tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to accounts payable. Ability to handle high volume transactions and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
