Director/Manager Financial Reporting

Description We are seeking a Director/Manager Financial Reporting to join our team based in Coppell, Texas. As part of our Restaurants & Catering industry team, this role will encompass a variety of responsibilities related to financial reporting, internal and external relationship management, and team leadership. Responsibilities: Develop and enhance professional and technical skills within your team Oversee the drafting and filing processes for all SEC filings, including 10-K/10-Q, XBRL, 8-K’s and Proxy Statement Distribute monthly and quarterly financial statements to various stakeholders Manage the preparation of quarterly earnings materials in coordination with Investor Relations Oversee and review the work of a team of financial analysts Conduct review duties, including review of 10-Q/10-Q support, month-end close journal entries, and select account reconciliations Perform or oversee technical accounting research as needed Manage relationships with external and internal auditors, coordinating audits and reviews Assist in the budgeting/forecasting process as needed Ensure adherence to all organizational policies and maintain a respectful workplace. Requirements Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in financial reporting within the Restaurants & Catering industry Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must Familiarity with BlackLine and EPS is essential Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required Must be able to perform all accounting functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary Auditing skills are required Must have experience with Balance Sheet Account Familiarity with Budget Processes is necessary Excellent communication and leadership skills Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Must have strong analytical, strategic-planning, and problem-solving skills Must have a high level of integrity and dependability Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
