We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable & HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both accounts payable and human resources, with a strong understanding of the unique demands of a construction accounting environment. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial and HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable:
- Process and manage all invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Human Resources:
- Assist with payroll processing, including tracking and reporting employee hours.
- Maintain employee records and handle HR documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws.
Qualifications:
- Experience in accounts payable, preferably within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction accounting software Computer Ease (similar to QuickBooks)
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
