Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Capital Accountant in Dallas, Texas. This role focuses on managing and preparing the company's capital account records and ensuring they are in line with financial regulations and standards. As a Capital Accountant, you will work closely with the finance team and play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company.Responsibilities: Prepare and record Property, Plant, & Equipment (PP& E) related journal entries. Review and close out corporate IT, construction, and various capital projects to fixed assets. Prepare account reconciliations with appropriate support for specific accounts associated with these activities. Perform other financial tasks and prepare schedules for audit and tax purposes, ensuring appropriate information is obtained and all controls and policies are satisfied. Prepare annual roll forwards for the hospitals and practices, compiling data, and reconciling each transaction type and General Ledger account. Assist in providing useful information at month-end for analysis by other company personnel and aid in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions to improve processes. Use and manage Accounting Software Systems, BlackLine, Crystal Reports, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Conduct Accrual Accounting and Auditing and manage Budget Processes. Oversee Capitalization and manage Accounting Functions.
