Description Our Family Office PE investment client is in search of a Staff Accountant to join the team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with a range of accounting duties, from bank reconciliations to preparing journal entries and reports. Your expertise in accounting software such as Epicor and Essbase will be crucial in maintaining and reconciling intercompany accounts and facilitating other essential accounting processes.Responsibilities: Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records Prepare and enter various journal entries, including accruals, to keep the accounting system up-to-date Track various notes, including interest accruals and payments, to maintain accurate financial records Assist in the completion of tax estimates and returns by providing necessary information to the tax department Reconcile intercompany accounts to ensure consistency in financial data across different departments Utilize equity method accounting to accurately represent investments in other companies Prepare various reports and information requests for the annual audit to ensure compliance with financial regulations Allocate costs to subsidiaries as necessary for accurate financial reporting Load data files from subsidiaries into Essbase and reconcile data between different systems Prepare payroll entries to ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time Prepare analyses, schedules, reports, etc. as requested by supervisors to assist in decision making and planning Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting department.For consideration, please email a resume to Liz Noyes at Robert Half via linked in.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation and Journal Entries is required Experience in Bank Reconciliations is essential Ability to conduct Annual External Audits Must be adept at using Epicor and Essbase software Knowledge in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Big 4 public audit highly preferred CPA a plus Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
