Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the detail oriented Services industry based in Dallas, Texas. The role involves managing accounting procedures, maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with established standards. Responsibilities: Prepare accounting records and financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with departmental standards Establish and maintain records of accounts, input entries into appropriate accounts Utilize current technologies to document and ensure proper maintenance of financial records Manage and monitor accounting procedures for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and coordinate external audit requirements Prepare month-end journal entries and assist in the compilation of financial statements Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers on a regular basis Independently complete audit-quality account reconciliations monthly for balance sheet accounts, including capital projects in progress accounts and miscellaneous revenue accounts Perform a crucial role in the audit process, ensuring all accounts are accurately represented Leverage skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks efficiently and effectively Apply advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices to all tasks. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role as a Staff Accountant. Proficiency in accounting software, such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Experience with Bank Reconciliations. Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries. Ability to perform Month End Close procedures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and trustworthiness. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
