job detailsjob summary:We are looking for a skilled Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale commercial roofing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the roofing industry and will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones.
Monitor project budgets and control costs to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
Conduct regular site visits to oversee work progress, ensure safety compliance, and address any issues that arise.
Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and change orders.
Resolve any project-related disputes or issues, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Lead project meetings, providing clear communication and direction to all stakeholders.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in project management within the commercial roofing industry.
Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, and materials.
Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
