Leasing Maintenance Lead (HGES)Dallas, TX, USAReq #1121Sunday, November 24, 2024Job Summary The Leasing Maintenance Lead will perform maintenance on commercial aircraft engines and engine stands and perform engine preservations. The position will have to be returned to service authority on maintenance work. The lead is responsible for leading job(s) and/or a team of employees. (Other duties may be assigned) Essential Job Duties

Maintain current records, manuals, and other necessary documentation for review by the governing authority/authorities.

Create 8130, including mini pack, to be pushed all the way through the quality department for final signoff.

Proficient with GES quality procedures per the RSM/QCM, including the FAA/EASA Part 145 regulations, requirements, and procedures

Act in accordance with and meet the requirements of the RSM/QCM, other applicable regulations, and company policies

Ensure employees are trained while providing a positive work environment.

Provide documented feedback to the Leasing Maintenance Supervisor on new hire(s), contractors, and employee on progression.

Ability to manage team(s) & engines from start to finish.

Provide excellent customer service (in the shop or field)

Possess a positive attitude when promoting the business to internal and external customers, co-workers, or potential employees

Read, interpret, and understand OEM technical data, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives, and other specifications to determine the maintenance procedure, method of repairing and/or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components

Knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM) for multiple aircraft and engine configurations

Effectively utilize Quantum Control and JETRAXX systems within six months

Approach assignments with the “can-do” spirit and positive attitude

Effectively use torque wrenches, calibrated tools, and special tooling

Remove, install, and repair aircraft engines, parts, fan blades, engine mounts, and other items

Perform accessory inventories and other inspections

Put safety first and take safety seriously

Proactively prepare workload assignments for a team when required

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Perform other duties as assigned. (Occasional assistance in other departments may be needed)

May require weekend and holiday work as well as business travel (both domestic and international) due to priority option with RTS Certification.

Minimum Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate (A&P) or Powerplant (P) or Repairman’s Certificate

Obtain Return To Service

Four years of FAA repair station experience or equivalent preferred

4 years’ experience working on turbine engines or 2 years GES DFW experience and 2 years aviation industry experience

Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally

Previous leadership experience managing/leading direct reports preferred

Obtain working knowledge of Quantum Control, AMOS and/or Jetraxx systems within six months

Proficient user of Adobe DC & Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Read, write, and understand the English language

Ability to obtain a US Passport

Accountabilities Accountable to Leasing Maintenance SupervisorPhysical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

May be exposed to loud noise.

Able to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for prolonged periods, climb steps, ladders, and/or service stands.

Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Ability to talk, hear and smell.

Reach/handle items, work with fingers and perceive attributes of object and materials.

May need to work outside as necessary.

Must be enrolled in the DOT-approved random drug and alcohol testing program.

Normal office environment and performed in the sitting position with the remaining time walking around the office or repair station/shop areas.

Normal or corrected hearing.

May need to work in hot or cold weather conditions.

Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected and must be able to distinguish color.
