Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231Work hours: Full Time | 36/hour Week | Night shift | 7p-7aMedical Surgical Hematology/Oncology highlights:

30 Bed inpatient Hematology/ Oncology Medical Surgical Department

THD pays for Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification

Working with a Multi-Disciplinary Team

Work with Oncology patients and provide life-saving care

Here’s What You Need

Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program Completion

BSN preferred

One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

One year of Emergency experience strongly preferred

RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req And

CRRN - Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Upon Hire Pref Or

CNRN - Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse Upon Hire Pref Or

ONC - Orthopedic Nurse Certified Upon Hire Pref Or

Other Certification in area of specialty Upon Hire Pref

What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Assesses the patient

Plans the care of the patient

Intervenes as appropriate

Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
