Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a SCRUM Lead in Dallas, Texas. This role is part of the Information Technology industry and requires expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies. The SCRUM lead will be responsible for managing multiple projects, developing project roadmaps, and acting as a liaison between business units and third-party vendors.Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days per week onsiteAs a member of the Information Technology Team within our organization, you will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities for multiple projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies. This is a fast-paced role, managing numerous simultaneous assignments with distributed teams.Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Comprehensive management of all project aspects
Designing and maintaining project vision, working standards, and agreements
Developing project roadmap, resource allocation, release plan, communication plan and more
Facilitate Agile project meetings
Tracking, updating, and proactively communicating project status
Serving as a liaison between different business units and third-party vendors
Gathering and documenting complex requirements using business analysis techniques.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline
3 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience
3 years of experience managing and delivering high-availability, mission critical IT development projects using structured project management methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience in Agile methods
5 years of experience in IT and business
5 years of experience managing IT development projects using Agile/Scrum
Airline Industry experience is a plus
Skills, Licenses & Certifications:
ScrumMaster or PMP certification is a plus
Experience leading, coaching, mentoring teams, and use of Agile methodologies
Experience using a variety of computing platforms, such as mainframe, client/server, web, cloud, and social media
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong leadership; team-focused with high energy and a positive attitude
Strong analytical, estimating, and problem-solving skills
Ability to think strategically and develop tactical methods to achieve goals
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work in a collaborative environment
