Description We are offering an opportunity for a Senior IT Auditor in the service industry, situated in Dallas, Texas. This is a contract role that involves conducting IT audits, focusing on operational aspects rather than IT SOX/controls. The position is on a long-term contract basis and the individual will be expected to execute tasks efficiently under guidance, contributing to the team's overall objectives. Hybrid work schedule in Dallas, TX 75231: 3 days a week in-office.IT Auditor (contract role):Responsibilities: Conduct IT audits with a focus on operational aspects, not IT SOX/controls. Engage in audits related to cyber and cloud security, ensuring the safety and integrity of our IT systems. Execute tasks efficiently under guidance. Maintain a proactive approach in identifying potential risks and threats, and design preventive strategies accordingly. Prepare and present detailed audit reports, providing valuable insights on our IT operations. Develop and execute audit plans in line with the company's policies and regulatory requirements. Cooperate with other team members and departments, ensuring smooth and efficient audit processes. Continuously keep up-to-date with the latest IT trends and auditing techniques. Possess certification in Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) is preferred. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Requirements Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of IT auditing Extensive knowledge and experience with Audit Program, Auditing, Audit Plans, and Audit Reports Proven experience in IT Audit and IT audits Hold a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification Hold a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification Hold a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Advanced knowledge of information systems and internal controls Strong understanding of the service industry's standards and regulations Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements Proficiency with standard office software including MS Office Suite and audit documentation software Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
