Perform and complete Shoe Care tasks according to Nordstrom guidelines and service standards.
Ensure the shine stand is organized and ready to deliver on customer expectations.
Shine shoes; p rovid e consultation on care of shoes and minor repair on shoes.
Utilize store technology to answer phones , checkout customers and properly record customer information .
Meet department and individual productivity goals.
Communicate supply needs in a timely manner to m anager .
Maintain accurate records of shoe care transactions and record tips daily .
May flex into other shoe stock and cleaning tasks when needed.
You own this if you have…
Basic math, organization, and written communication skills
Previous shoeshine experience; preferred minimum 1-2 years
Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, peers, and leadership through clear and professional communication .
A willingness to learn, and a high level of ownership for personal growth, accountability and initiative .
Ability to work independently, with little or no day-to-day direction .
The ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs.
