Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the hospitality industry for a Staff Tax Accountant based in Dallas, Texas. The role primarily involves processing tax-related transactions, maintaining tax records, and ensuring corporate tax compliance.Responsibilities: Processing and verifying tax-related transactions using tools such as CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP S/4HANA. Maintaining accurate tax records and monitoring accounts for any discrepancies. Ensuring corporate tax compliance and conducting compliance audits when necessary. Creating ad hoc reports to provide insights into tax-related activities. Assisting with the preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns. Responding to and resolving client inquiries related to their tax accounts. Continually updating knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Assisting in the development and implementation of tax strategies.Requirements Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx is essential for accurate and efficient tax processing. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required for data analysis and reporting. Experience with QuickBooks is necessary for managing and tracking financial transactions. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is desirable for effective financial planning and analysis. Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting to meet specific business requirements. Understanding and experience in Compliance to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations. Experience in Compliance Audit to identify and mitigate tax risks. Knowledge of Corporate Income Tax is crucial for accurate tax calculations and filings. Proficiency in Corporate Tax Compliance is necessary to ensure the organization meets all its tax obligations.
